On Autumn’s first Friday night, Somerville, MA will host Davis Dash, a cycling and running extravaganza bringing thousands of competitors and spectators to Davis Square for an evening of human-powered speed.
RACE has worked closely with the City of Somerville to bring bicycle racing back to Davis Square, which last hosted the 2000 American Cup, one of the largest bicycle races in the USA. The Davis Dash adds a new element of excitement – a one mile running race starting and finishing on the bicycle race course.
The Davis Dash will electrify Somerville as top runners and cyclists from across the country compete for thousands of dollars in prize money while raising funds and awareness for cancer research. Whether to watch or participate, Davis Square is the place to be on Friday September 24th!
