New 5 mile format on legendary course
The Super Sunday 5 is a little of something old, a lot of something new, and definitely one of the most unique races in New England. Our new 5 mile course revives an old favorite: the legendary Doc Linskey Road Race.
Bustonian Bailout 5K
If 5 miles is too long for ya, just peel off at the 5K split in Inman Square and punch your ticket for the Bustonian Bailout, a rockin’ party-ride back to the start/finish area. (Sorry, no awards for 5K runners.)
Super Sunday Party
As always, Super Sunday will have a great post race event. New this year, we’ll have 5 different breweries pouring Super Sunday love along with free food and some kick-ass live music.
Race day schedule:
9:00am – registration opens
10:10am – registration closes
10:30am – race starts
11:00am – party starts
1:oopm – party ends
1:30pm – party really ends. if you’re still there, you better be helping us clean up!
Entry fee is $35 until 12-noon Thursday 2/2
$37 from 2/2 until 12 noon 2/3 when online registration closes.
Day of registration will be at least $40. (yes, it might be more)

Sorry, no walkers this year; we have a very tight schedule due to heavy MBTA traffic on the course.
Awards
Awards for top 3 male and female overall, age groups, and fastest team. Bustonian Bailout 5K runners will receive an official time but no awards.
Team Competition
Teams are scored by the cumulative time of your top 5 runners and at least 2 must run like girls. (ie, at least 2 females!)
Team captains: create a team, recruit at least 4 teammates and you’ll get a free Super Sunday tshirt! Teams are scored by the cumulative time of your top 5 runners (at least 2 must be female). We’ll have prizes for the top three scoring teams as well as a special prize for the largest team.
RACE Assurance Plan
Worried about postponements, cancellations or injuries? Our optional RACE Assurance Plan ($5) reimburses 100% of your entry fee if the race is canceled for any reason whatsoever (LIKE A FRIGGIN’ BLIZZARD!) or postponed to a date or time which you can not attend. This plan also permits you to transfer – at no additional cost – your entry to another person if you can not participate due to illness or injury. Each plan covers one paid entry.
Chip Timing:
Overall awards in the 5 mile race are based on GUN time; age group awards are based on CHIP time. There are no awards for the 5K (the Bustonian ride is your prize!)

Top 3 Male & female overall ($500 cash) and age group awards: 18 & under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Races are more fun with friends and we reward our runners for referring others to Super Sunday. When you register, you’ll get a “share link” in your confirmation email so that RaceMenu can track your referrals. As always, we’ll have awesome prizes for the top referrers. Bag Check:
As with all RACE events, there will be secure bag-check area (near start/finish line) for all participants.

We are seeking volunteers to help with several aspects of the event; please register here. Volunteers receive a free tshirt or free entry into the post-race party.

The Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF) inspires and empowers people affected by cancer. The LAF believes that unity is strength, knowledge is power and attitude is everything. On February 5th, we are uniting to help make cancer a national priority. Together, we can help people with cancer live life on their own terms.
Postponement, Cancellation and Refund Policy
In the event of inclement weather, the event may be postponed to another date. No refunds will be issued due to conflicts with the postponement date. If RACE must cancel the event due to circumstances beyond their control, no refunds will be issued. Bottom line: RACE does not control the weather, nor does RACE issue refunds unless RACE really screwed up. Please remember, all proceeds go to charity.

Red line: Take the Red Line to the Kendall Square station. Head towards Charles River/Main St. Turn left onto 3rd St and walk .2 miles and turn right onto Linskey Way. Green line: Take the Green Line to the Lechmere Station. Walk west on Cambridge St towards 1st St. Turn left onto 2nd St and right onto Linksey Way.
