Good Evening Turkey 5 Volunteers!
My name is Peter Cushing and I am the Volunteer Coordinator for the inaugural Turkey5 being run in Wellesley this Thursday. This email contains important information pertaining to volunteers for Thursday.
Your volunteer shift is scheduled for this Thursday from 6:00 AM until just shortly after 10 AM at the race’s start / finish line. Parking is not an issue in that area with several large parking lots in the area. Public transportation is not a viable option for the early start of the race but there is a commuter rail station within walking distance if you have the need following the race.
The start / finish will be located on Linden Street in front of the Roche Brothers Supermarket Shopping Center located at 184 Linden Street, Wellesley, MA. There will be multiple RaceMenu tents in the parking lot and will be easy to locate us. We will have coffee and donuts on site for you. Course maps for the 5K and 5 miler can be found here. Volunteer Assignments will be available Thursday morning. Please let me know if you have any physical limitations that I should consider when making the volunteer assignments.

I am looking forward to working with each of you this Thanksgiving. I really cannot think of a better way to spend this day than supporting a charitable event like this.
